Some segments are taking the listener along the more contemporary black metal lines. There’s a notable input from the modern atmospheric or post black metal. Nowhere near prevalent, or too obvious, but it lingers in there. And let me tell you something, it does fit.
Another nice input are the subtle keyboards that appear on occasion. As an atmospheric addition,
I really like it and high level recommend. Favorite track: The doors of hell.

darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM) I really like this album, good atmosphere, excellent riffs well melodic, epic ambience, suffocating vocals, a pleasant production, quite raw. "For those people that the day is night", it's that man, living mostly the night and my favorite moment of the "day". The sun sucks, hail the moon & hail the night. Otherwise, a record that I recommend highly, and an one man band totally worthy of support. Limpid, powerful, full of melodies, good stuff.
Favorite track: Insomniac people.

In my opinion Apocalyptic Leaders are a very great sounding diverse black metal solo project and if you are looking for something that is different, you should check out this cassette. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Doors of Hell" and "Obscurantism (Burned Alive)". 8 out of 10.

“Dead in the winter” has a very classic black metal sound and tone. There is some great guitar picking. The tempo changes are smooth and clean. It is lyrically as cold as the title would suggest. On “Salvation death”, the outright brutality picks up with ripping drums lashing forward. The synth soothes, but the rhythm keeps charging. The instrumental track is heavy, with some great guitar work. The synth of “Infinite black” gives a real atmospheric sound. The slower vocal delivery is full of malice, giving visions of evil and darkness.

Beautiful songs with awesome breaks and a punk attitude. Bet these guys listened to some Clash or Sex Pistols at some point. Agree with other comments about good mix of atmospherics with edginess. Overall makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside 👹 imprint

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
